Asset Disposals

When you are done using or tracking a particular asset, you may do one of the following options:

• Archive the asset from the live database to the archive database
• Dispose of the asset using the disposal screen, marking the asset as disposed
• Sell the asset marking the status as sold

When you dispose of an asset, the service termination date is set and the asset status is set to disposed.
